Brian Culbertson Returns to Capital Jazz Fest
In the coming weeks, Brian Culbertson, will be returning to the 2010 Capital Jazz Festival. He will be performing 7:30 Saturday evening on the Pavilion stage, following Esperanza Spalding.
Capital Jazz Fest will be held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, June 4-6, 2010 in Columbia, MD! Attendees will enjoy three days of artists workshops, meet & greets, good food, shopping, late night parties, and sitting down, relaxing in the sun, take in some of the best jazz music today. The event kicks off with An Evening of Music and Comedy, hosted by Alonzo Bodden and will feature Gladys Knight and comedian Sinbad, Friday June 4th at 7:30pm on the Pavilion stage.
Newcomers this year include Raphael Saadiq, bassist/vocalist Esperanza Spalding, acapella group Naturally 7, as well as many others. Festival favorites returning to the stage include Kenny G, Ledisi, The Brand New Heavies, and Rachelle Ferrell.
